Our water inflated flood control systems can meet the demands of a wide variety of protection requirements and site conditions. The AquaDam works by constraining water-tight tubes within a woven outer sleeve. In conjunction with the stability baffle, this design creates a temporary non-rolling water-filled barrier which is able to control up to ¾ of its height in flood water depth when filled.
Less expensive to purchase than alternative earth- or water-filled flood barriers. Low-impact removal. No HazMat disposal fees.
The dry weight of a transported AquaDam is about 0.0025% of its filled weight, easily handled by a 1-2 person team.
Installation can take from 1 to 8 hours. Removal may take 3-8 hours. Timeframes are dependent on site-specific conditions.
Can follow the twists and turns of nearly any deployment path, over uneven terrain.
