Water Controlling Water®
Starting point of the first AquaDam installed on this job.
Both AquaDams are up and work has already begun.
The mini excavator is helping the workers place the conduit in the right location. The AquaDams are providing an amazing cofferdam system.
It is not recommended to work so close to an AquaDam, but at times the job may require it.
The water would be over the worker's heads if an AquaDam was not in place.
Workers checking their numbers to verify their component are in the correct location.
The piping must be set correctly for optimal flow rates.
The components being installed had to be placed below the bottom of the sewage ponds.
AquaDam is a cofferdam, but they can also be used as a platform for pumps or other equipment.
The AquaDam cofferdam system working hard keeping these workers and their work area dry.
Good job AquaDam!
Workers keep the pipe in place until it is time to back-fill the area.
An angle above and behind the workers as they carefully install the pipe.
Notice the curious fowls in top of the photo are inquiring to what is going on in their pond.
The pipe is in place and the workers are starting to back-fill the hole that they dug.
The AquaDam cofferdam system is holding up well and the workers are getting their job done.
Workers continue to back-fill around their components.
Here we can see the other side of the AquaDam cofferdam system.
Making sure that all of the component are level can be critical, especially for projects with moving water.
While back-filling it is important to keep the components in place.
A great photo showing the work area, from one AquaDam to another.
