Two 6ft tall, 13ft wide, 100ft long single closed-end (SCE) AquaDams were utilized in an evaporation pond located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The installation of this AquaDam cofferdam system was completed in just 8 hours.

For this project, a smaller 18in tall and 3ft wide SCE AquaDam was utilized. This AquaDam served the purpose of seepage control. To effectively manage seepage, workers constructed a temporary pool between the two AquaDams.

An employee is currently overseeing the seepage control at a sharp bend in the horseshoe or "U" shaped configuration. It is common for evaporation ponds to accumulate sediment at the bottom.

Workers are strategizing their next move now that the work area has been dried.

The workers have commenced the process of repairing the damaged pond liner.

The repairs to the pond liner are nearly complete.

The AquaDam cofferdam system, standing at 6ft tall, is performing exceptionally well.

With the pond liner successfully repaired, the workers are now ready to begin the process of removing the AquaDams.

Wonderful job everyone!
